Anyway, to help us keep on the narrow road we have wonderful collection of ingenious laws, amongst them perhaps most noticeably the one about what car make you are allowed to choose. To put it simple: once your father has chosen a car, you are required by law to buy one exactly like it. This makes it wonderfully easy to keep track of things (that family drives Volvos, that Saabs, that one Volvos, etc. These are the only two brands allowed in Sweden, by the way. ).

We went to a family gathering yesterday, to congratulate my cousin and his wife to their newborn daughter, Elvira. No pics of her I´m afraid (just imagine a newborn, they pretty much all look the same, don´t they?), but above are the family cars. My father´s, my own, my brother´s and my cousin´s.
